My Dear Lord Jesus I lift up my eyes towards the Heavens beyond
as I lift my eyes heavenward, I lift my soul up to thee,
asking thee in prayer to search out the inner depths of my soul,
to reveal unto me where I am displeasing Thee as your disciple.
My dear Lord Jesus search out the inner most depths
of my soul to see if I am walking as Thee walked.
He that saith he abideth in him ought himself
also so to walk, even as he walked.
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
My dear Lord Jesus search out in the inner most depths
of my soul to see if I am abiding in Thee as I should.
I am the vine,ye are the branches: He that abideth in me,
and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit:
for without me ye can do nothing.
My dear Lord Jesus search out in the inner most depths
of my soul to see if I am resting in Thee as I should.
For he that is entered into his rest,
he also hath ceased from his own works,
as God did from his.
My dear lord Jesus search out in the inner most depths
of my soul to see if I am waiting on Thee as I should.
Watch and pray,
that ye enter not into temptation:
the spirit indeed is willing,
but the flesh is weak.
Take ye heed, watch, and pray:
for ye know not when the time is.
