The Lord has blessed me with years beyond Psalm ninety verse ten which is so written
The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years,
yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
Since God has not named the years beyond four score years.
I have taken the liberty to call them my sunset years.
“yet is their strength labour and sorrow;”
“for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.”
Yet I believe those last phrases could apply to these sunset years.
For God has given me the strength and grace for these years,
they have been years filled with rejoicing as the last phrase is saying,
because in these sunset years I have watched many more of my
fellow saints have flown away to their home in heaven.
With God’s Grace and His strength from May,
first 1999 until the present date of September,
first 2013 I have been a servant of our precious
Lord Jesus Christ in various assignments,
I intend by Gods Grace and strength to,
continue until my Lord takes me home.
Some of my many favorite Scriptures
And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed. De 31:8
Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you. Eph 4:29-32
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. To him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 5:10-11
For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:6-8
I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy, Philippians 1:3-4
